In the evening, while they are having dinner, Cynthia eagerly tells her husband about what she experienced during the day, but Mike seems absent. His workday must have been exhausting… like every other day, after all. Cynthia and Mike have been married for years and unfortunately, routine has gradually crept into their relationship, to the point that they now have to schedule a specific day of the week to make love. As usual, for some time now, Mike always finds a good excuse to be absent at that exact moment, and Cynthia is starting to have doubts. If only she knew that all of Mike’s “very important work meetings” were actually taking place in a hotel room with his mistress Cookie (Anna Claire Clouds). She seems to be truly in love with Mike and cannot help thinking about him and sending him messages all day long. Desire? What desire? The next day, a trivial event is about to disrupt Cynthia’s quiet life as a housewife. A delivery man, certainly new to the neighborhood, has mistakenly delivered a package intended for Gina to her. Since the two women do not really know each other, Cynthia hesitates to disturb her, but as she does not want to simply leave the package on her doorstep either, she gathers her courage and knocks on her door. Unlike Cynthia, who is very introverted, Gina appears to be a very dynamic woman who has been enjoying life (and men) since her recent divorce. It is over a cup of coffee that the two women will get to know each other better. Gina got married far too young to escape her parents, and it took her nearly 10 years to realize that she was trapped in a toxic relationship. On her side, Cynthia fell in love with Mike while she was still in college. They lived a happy life for some time, but routine caught up with them faster than expected. When the two women discuss intimacy in relationships, Cynthia realizes that her husband has never managed to make her climax and that she has never truly experienced real pleasure. This unexpected encounter with Gina is about to change her life… for the better. Discovering true pleasure When Gina realizes that her new friend has not had sex for… a very long time and that she is almost trapped in her relationship, she proposes a plan of action that should not only allow her to break free from the housewife role carefully imposed by Mike, but also to regain control over her life as a woman. She seemed to live a very secluded life while, away from prying eyes, she spent a lot of time with passing men, such as those times when Milan (Milan Ponjevic), the neighborhood milkman, took a little longer than necessary to make his delivery. Just like her aunt back then, Gina quickly decided that only she could choose with whom and how to live her life, without attachment, simply taking pleasure as it comes and rejecting anyone who might wish her harm. This is how Cynthia decided to leave everything behind without telling anyone and to set off on an adventure with Gina. Unfortunately for them, their road trip will only last until they leave the city, when Gina’s car breaks down once again. Fortunately for them, Jack (Isiah Maxwell), the mechanic contacted by Gina, seems just as skilled at fixing cars as he is at taking care of them. This unfortunate breakdown will ultimately be the perfect opportunity for the two new friends to bring their budding relationship to life. From now on, they know they can always rely on each other to live the life they have both deserved for so long.
